ABOUT JAIME
A native of Panama, Jaime comes from a long family line of
photographers. Jaime's interest in photography began relatively
early, as he was his high school's yearbook photographer and
editor.
Jaime studied photography at the Georgia Art Institute. After
graduation, he returned to Panama, where he operated and managed
his family's photography studio and postcard business.
Later, he worked as a freelance photographer for a variety
of international news agencies, covering political and military
events in Central America. At the same time, he taught photography
at a private Catholic university in Central America.
In 1988, Jaime joined the Associated Press. He worked there
for four years, covering important political news events in
Central America, and photographing persons known worldwide,
such as Desmond Tutu and President Bush. In 1992, Jaime joined
the staff of photographers of the Panama Canal, working as
a photographer and as editor to the 80th Anniversary Book
of the Panama Canal.
In 1995, Jaime began working as a freelance fashion, modeling
and commercial photographer, opening a studio in downtown
Panama and working with Physical, a modeling agency affiliated
with Elite. His work during this time included photographing
Miss Panama for the Miss Universe Pageant.
In 1999, Jaime moved to Austin with his wife and two children
and continued his photography of weddings, models and fashion.

ABOUT CHRIS
Chris is a native Texan. Born in Austin, he was raised in the countryside halfway between Dripping Springs and Oak Hill. He attended Abilene Christian University after graduating from Dripping Springs High School in 1997. The opportunity arose to travel abroad to Oxford, England and there he discovered his love for taking pictures. Being a Print Journalism major at the time, he had no idea his little Canon A-1 camera with it's one 50mm lens would bring the world of photography into focus. After returning to campus, Chris' pictures were used for advertising to promote the "Study Abroad" experience.
Back at ACU, he delved into the photography world by getting a job on the school newspaper and yearbook. After completing his degree in Photojournalism he moved back to Austin where he interned with the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department. Chris photographed TPWD photographer Earl Nottigham and his work was featured in the magazine and promotional brochures. Working with photographer Lorene Moore he photographed the bats at Devils Hole in west Texas. He also covered the Iwo Jima reenactment in Fredricksburg TX. You may find some of his photos featured in the Admiral Nimitz museum.
After that, Chris became a photo lab technician, and then a photo lab manager for several years helping and teaching customers how to use their cameras for better use. Chris fell even deeper in love with photography after acquiring his first professional digital camera. He began to shoot more weddings and portraits shortly after, and then acquired a job for several years doing studio portraits taking pictures ranging from Children, to Firemen, to Clergy.
Chris approaches photography as nature embraces spring. You will find the colors vibrant, and full of life. The only difference is the art captured by Chris lasts not a season, but a lifetime.

ABOUT BEN
Although Ben isn't a native Texan, he got here as soon as he could. Ben has spent the majority of his life in Texas and loves every minute of it. He enjoys the opportunity to capture photographs of people with the Texas as a backdrop, which adds a layer of beauty to the photo not found anywhere else.
Ben began his love affair with photography while attending Texas State University. A simple film photography class was all it took, and since then, he has spent more time and money on this passion than may be healthy. Ben recently completed his Bachelors of Fine Arts and during his last semester took the first place award from Texas Interscholastic Press Association for a feature photo he took while working for the school's newspaper.
Ben's experience in photography includes numerous contract jobs for weddings, engagements, portraits, and a recent position at a newspaper. He approaches photography with a "less is more" philosophy, allowing the simplicity of an image to fill the imagination of the viewer. His desire is not to meet the expectations of a client, but exceed them in every way possible. If a client isn't happy with their photos, Ben won't be either!
When Ben isn't taking photos, he loves to scuba dive around the state and abroad. He recently got to dive in Mexico and Australia, with many more international destinations left to visit. He would like to take up underwater photography, but he is too busy taking photos on the surface to take them underwater!
